2. How to post items to exchange

Understanding how to use SwapNow will help you quickly swap your items. Once you have successfully registered an account, you need to follow these steps to upload the item to be exchanged on the website.

Step 1: Click the “SwapNow” logo at the bottom navigation bar to post an item.

Step 2: Choose the item’s category to help other swappers find it easier and faster.

Step 3: Choose a location to display and swap your item.

Step 4: Enter valid information to help other swappers know more about the items.

At this step, trustful information related to the item, especially:

Title: Enter the product’s catchy title and headline
Photos: upload product attractive images
Condition: including New – Like new – Used

Step 5: Upload and Post the item, and it is available to swap with other swappers.

After setting up the item information to be exchanged, we need to save the data. Then click the “Post to SwapNow” button to upload the product to the app.

When the upload button is pressed, a message will appear. There are two display options, “SwapNow” and “View item.” If “SwapNow” is selected, the screen will return to the application home page. Click the “View Item” option to review the account holder’s product information.

3.1 Select exchange products

Once you find your desired item, you conduct the exchange process according to the following steps:

Step 1: Click the “SWAPNOW” button to start the exchange.

Step 2: The account holder’s product window will appear. Click on your product that you want to exchange with the desired item.

Step 3: Click “Send Request” to send a request to other swappers saying that you are interested in swapping their item with yours.

After “Send Request,” a successful message will appear. Click “OK” to complete the process. Since then, once the requested swapper accepts your request, you will receive a notification and can start connecting immediately.

To review the exchange status, click on the “My Swaps” swap information on the bottom menu bar to check the swap progress.

3.2 Exchange by message

After you and your partner accept each other’s requests and connect to each other, we click on the “SWAPNOW” icon to initiate the conversation and switch to the messaging section. Here you and your partner can share detailed information about the product, also how to contact, choose the location, how to exchange the item, etc.
